Along with Kenrokuen and Kairakuen, Okayama Korakuen is praised as one of Japan's Three Famous Gardens. It is one of the best daimyo (feudal lord) gardens in Japan, appropriate to the Bizen Ikeda Family, who ruled the land of Okayama until the revolutionary period.
You can enjoy Okayama's famous Okayama matsuri sushi (or "scattered sushi") at Shikisai in the garden.
