Culture/History/Japan Heritage
This ritual takes place in the Okamaden at Kibitsu-jinja Shrine. When Ura's wife Azohime cooked rice, Ura made the cauldron sing, and that sound foretold good fortune. The head of Ura is said to be buried beneath the kettle.
